Isha Weigh in 3

My weight hasn't changed. I managed to sprain my foot by wearing the wrong running shoes, so I haven't been able to do any meaningful cardio. I'm testing out the Nikes I just bought tomorrow sha.

Also, my fitness pal says I'm not eating enough. That I need to eat at least 1200 calories per day so that my body doesn't go 'starvation mode' on me. Lol. Ah well. But I need to figure out protein meals. Naija makes that so difficult. My new favorite snacks: cashews+raisins, boiled egg.

The good news:
Waist: 35.5
Breasticles: 39.5
Arm: 15.5 (I couldn't believe this one. More jumping jacks then!)
Thigh: 29.75
Hips: Same

Happy weight loss week me lovelies.

  1. My fitness pal says that to me too. It's given me a daily calorie allowance of 1350 cals and I've been doing less than that. It says I'm in danger of having my body go into starvation mode and hoard calories if I don't eat more. I don't see myself eating all of that! Not eating a lot of calories worked for me and that's how I lost 5kg back in March during lent, so for now I'm going to ignore my fitness pal's warnings and just try to eat right without necessarily counting calories.

  2. I totally get the need to eat and body going into starvation, but I'm worried that eating to much will only make the pounds add on ;-/. I guess the underlying principle is choosing a healthy 1200 calories.

  3. Trust me guys, 1200 calories is small!
@Adele: you might have lost those 5kgs during kent, but I'm sure you've gained them back once u started eating. I did the Daniel fast in January and was eating less than 1000 cals a day, I lost weight, but in a month, I gained it all back!
I think 1350 is reasonable especially if you eat it as 5-6 small meals throughout the day.

@Adede: you won't add on the pounds if you eat the lean meats/ proteins with complex carbs.

  4. It's true! You can eat 1500 calories, as long as you're not piling up on Carbs and unhealthy fats. I'm loving cashews and raisins these days, well since yesterday. Lol. So help me God.

Oh, I'm on leave for two weeks. I tend not to eat well when I'm at home. I hope I don't mess up my hard work.
